Milagros Hurtig's artistic practice explores the city as a living organism — one that shelters, provokes, and sometimes suppresses the creatures we carry within. Working across public space, ceramics, drawing, photography, and digital interventions, she reclaims the monster as a political and poetic figure: an embodiment of difference, vulnerability, and the unruly vitality that urban environments often suppress.
